"Hi, my name is Zydan Merkx and I am currently a 4th year physiotherapy student at the University of South Australia, undertaking my rural placement at Barossa Physiotherapy. I was born in Flinders Medical centre in 1997 however moved to Kapunda when I was 8 and spent the rest of my childhood here, I currently live in Gawler. I attended Xavier College for my high school years and graduated in 2015. When I am not studying, I work part-time at Café Sia in Gawler as a cook, play soccer, attend gym 5-6 days a week and enjoy hanging out with friends and family. My role as a physiotherapy student is very exciting and I look forward to my time at Barossa Physiotherapy."
